Shankar's Onion.... NOT A REVIEW!!!! @
By Whoosh 2 @ 10:48 pm      12 Comments
I saw Shankar's Onion yesterday, and I have a strange feeling that Shankar has visited my blog and "suttufied" my idea!!!

Questions for those who have been visiting my blog for sometime...

What was the name of my blog?

Split Personalities - Vikram Vikkki and Markiv....
(Onion seems too close to this, na?)

Coorelation between the protagonists in my blog and in Onion..

Vikram - Ambi (Saadhu fellow)
Vikkki - Remo ( :D )
Markiv - Anniyan ...
Shreya - Sadha
Siddarth - Prakash Raj...

:D

Any comments.???

Vikkki

PS: To distance myself from the film, I have renamed my blog title to Mark 4 ^ -1 ... Try to guess what this means...

Hare Rama Hare Krishna... @
By Whoosh 2 @ 2:19 am      13 Comments
Courtesy Srinivas... (Thanks da!)

We all know that Lord Rama has been addressed by different names like JANAKIRAMAN, KALAYANARAMAN, ANANTHARAMAN etc..

Likewise Lord Krishna has also been addressed by different names like GOPALAKRISHNAN, ANANTHAKRISHNAN etc..

One day our ancestors were thinking how to refer to all these names in an easier way.Now, we all know that our ancestors were oipneers in mathematics.. hey, they invented the big-o (called the zero)!!! So, with their mathematics knowledge they invented a concept called - the ARRAY.. After many centuries some American film makers invented the concept called the MATRIX, which is nothing more than many ARRAYs put together!!! Anywayz, back to the story...

They decided to put all the names of RAMA in an ARRAY called RAMA & all the names of KRISHNA in an ARRAY called KRISHNA.

From then they started to refer to them as ARRAY RAMA ARRAY KRISHNA, instead of all the names. This is how the concept of the ARRAY originated.

So its not HARE RAMA HARE KRISHNA but its ARRAY RAMA ARRAY KRISHNA.

All brickbats to be diverted to Srini.. :)

Desk melai evlo books????? @
By Whoosh 2 @ 5:33 am      3 Comments
Wokay.. This post is dedicated to Desai.... Mutalik Desai.... Mandar Mutalik Desai ala Mandy. He tagged me.. For the uninitiated this is something like Kho Kho. For those who dont know about kho-kho, here is a brief intoduction (This has got nothing to do with underwear). This is a game where a person who has absolutely nothing else to do sits in a line facing opposite directions relative to his neighbors and this one guy suddenly, without this poor soul's knowledge, comes and shouts "Kho". Once this poor soul hears this word, he needs to go running around searching for another poor soul to shout "Kho" at... Now, here I was going about my usual business of doing nothing and Mandy comes behind me and shouts "Tag".. And the funny part is he has tagged me to say something abt the books that I have/had. Yeah, right! BOOKS!!!!

So, here's all that u have to know abt the thing called books that I have...

The Number of books that I have:
I am not sure what intellectual value this question poses but, to the best of my recollection, I must say I have around 100 books.. Yup.. I am an Engineer, u see.. and to pass the Madras University exams the general philosophy is "The more the books u have, the better".. On the different books, the same story is told in many different ways and hence, the more number of pages for u to write in the exams.... And that implicitly means - MORE MARKS!!! This was so true that from our second year exams onwards, we never discussed the question paper after the exams.. The only question we would ask is "Dai ethanai sheet ezhthunei?" And one sadist would always say.. "Naan 40 sheet ezhuthuneinei!!!" (No marks for guessing who that sadist is :D )

Last Book I bought:
Digit June Issue.. 4th Anniversary Special.. Before u think I bought this book for reading, let me clarify that this issue carried 3 CDs and 1DVD free.. So there..

Last book I read:
The last book I read was "Deception Point" by Dan Brown.. Good story .. Dan Brown keeps the suspense up quite well.. But somehow, this book did not match up with his other books.. Digital Fortress and Da Vinci Code were much better..

A book that I could never finish:
There was this one book that I just could not finish. It was soooooo boring that I dont even remember the name of the author.. hey, wait wait.... one minute... now I remember.... 12th std Chemistry !!! :)

Five books that mean a lot to me:
As any Madras University Engineer would tell u, the five most important books would always be:
* Computer Networks Made Easy
* Security Engineering Made Easy
* Data Structures Made Easy
* Numerical Methods Made Easy
* Electron Devices Made Easy...

One book that I don't have currently, but would love to buy:
The Tintin collector's special!!!

Ippo TAG TIME!!!!

All ya ppl who have come here and read this.... ungalukku ippo naan "Kho" sollitein.. So, u know what u have to do... Ensaai Maadi..
